What's this all about?

I'm a guy with way too many interests and way too much time on my hands. A while back I realized that I spend a lot of my time just telling people I know about the various media I consume, so I just figured what the hell, let's just lay it all out. On here, you'll see my reviews of video games, films, books, tv shows, and more, but I've also decided to upload my hobbies here as well because why not?

Goblin Cart

Bryn Shander definitely seemed to get the short end of the stick when it came to adventures in the first chapter of Rime of the Frostmaiden, because it doesn't even get a map, so I remedied that. This was pretty much the first all-wilderness one I've made thus far, and apart from the lack of dog sled props I'm pretty satisfied with this one. I decided to throw in a few clusters of the tainted Chardalyn crystals around, and that along with the glow from the icy pond (with a dragon skull to boot) gives this stretch of dusk tundra a slight eerie feeling. I also learned a good deal about water and layering when I made this, so I'll be using that knowledge going forward. I only wish I could use the terrain brush on materials like ice, it would make it look even better, alongside something to give the snow more texture. Also not a fan of the cart, but oh well :(
